Security Message for U.S. Citizens
As New Year’s Eve approaches and large gatherings and celebrations take place across the United Arab Emirates, the U.S. Embassy takes this opportunity to remind U.S. citizens of the Department of State’s Worldwide Travel Alert in which U.S. citizens are advised to be extra cautious, maintain a very high level of vigilance and take appropriate steps to enhance their personal security.
U.S. citizens should be mindful that terrorist groups and those inspired by them pose unpredictable threats in public venues. Citizens should be mindful of local conditions and alert for signs of danger.
