DON’T FORGET TO VOTE!!!

If you have not yet completed the voter registration process, we encourage all eligible voters to do so as soon as possible. The process to register to Vote and submitting a ballot is fast, easy, and can be done from anywhere in the world!

All U.S. citizens can request to receive their blank ballots electronically.  Depending on the state in which you are eligible to vote, you may get your ballot by email, fax, or internet download.

Start by confirming your voter registration with your state.  Some states require absentee voters to register annually so you may need to re-register using a Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).  Go to FVAP.gov to connect to your state’s voter portal to register to vote, request a ballot, and more.  Once you confirm your registration, follow a few simple steps to vote in the 2020 U.S. elections:

  1. Request Your Ballot
  2. Receive and Complete Your Ballot
  3. Return Your Completed, Signed Ballot

If you would like to mail your election materials (FPCA, Ballot, FWAB) at the U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate general, please visit us Sunday through Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (except on U.S. or UAE holidays). No appointment is necessary. We recommend all ballots be delivered to the U.S. Embassy on or before Wednesday, September 30, 2020. A federal Write-In-Absentee Ballot (FWAB) is available when your local absentee ballot cannot be obtained before the voting deadlines.

For questions, please visit the U.S. Embassy website at https://ae.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/voting/ or email:
