Events: Movement between regions within Abu Dhabi banned: The Abu Dhabi Emergency and Crisis Committee for the COVID-19 pandemic announced a ban on the movement entering and exiting the emirate and between its regions (Abu Dhabi, Al Ain & Al Dhafra) starting Tuesday June 2 for one week.

UAE residents can now return to the UAE: UAE carriers are scheduled to operate 36 flights in June to allow stranded UAE residents to return to the country. For details of available flights and points of origins, please contact EtihadEmirates, and flydubai airlines directly. Returning residents must request and be approved for return by the UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship. Please visit this website to request a permit.

All consular services for American citizens and visa applicants at the U.S. Embassy and Consulate continue to operate at reduced capacity: We will announce when we can provide additional consular services, but are unable to give a specific date at this time. -Check with your airlines regarding information about your travel plans or restrictions.
